Architects Index of Modelmaking

For the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale, AiM (Architects index of Modelmaking) partnered with world-renowned architecture firms and their modelmakers to showcase the craft behind design. The challenge was that modelmaking expertise too often stays hidden within studios. Our solution was twofold — a striking exhibition presence and the launch of the AiM Index, a global digital platform where any modelmaker can upload, share, and research practices. By uniting prestigious firms with emerging voices, AiM celebrates process over polish, builds transparency, and creates a living archive that fosters collaboration, learning, and recognition across the architectural community
